  I dont mind spending money on good food but i was very disappointed in the food
  The service was great the girls were very friendly couldn't fault them at all
  But unfortunately the food was very disappointing my partner ordered the veal scollapini with sweet potato mash and i odered the crispy pork belly
  Well when the scollapini came to the table it look horrible next to no sweet potato mash
  And only acouple of peices of veal drowned in sauce with melted cheese it looked like slop
  Next to no flavour at all
  My meal the pork belly looked great but couldn't fill a 2 year old and lacked sauce only had the smallest amount
  The pork was very nice though just needed a little more
  Sorry to say there was a trip to maccas as neither meal including garlic bread came close to filling our appetite

  We found this place by chance and so glad we did, we were walking along the street looking at menus and decided to give Lorenzo's a go. From the moment we walked in I was so impressed. The staff are amazing and so attentive from the start. Not only that, once we ordered what we wanted the chef came to our table to chat to us and ask exactly how we would like it cooked - he was so friendly and I have to say this in itself made the whole experience like no other. On top of this the food was cooked to perfection. I had the scotch fillet & my husband had the pork belly and both dishes were spot on. I also highly recommend the sorbet & lemon curd tart for dessert. We live an hour and a half away but will definitely be back. Thank-you Lorenzo and to all your staff.

  Dinner for 2 in September was excellent. Food is typical and genuine northern Italian. The tagliaini in squid ink with prawns,octopus, calamari,shellfish etc. was one of the best I've eaten including in all regions of Italy. Service was good and ambience excellent. I have enjoyed wonderful italian ristorante/trattoria/osteria experiences when visiting Italy almost every year for over 35 years and Lorenzo's was just like eating in the Veneto.
